  • New Glasspar Seafair Sedan Owner

    Hi All,

Well, Green Bay isn't quite in the Northwest, but in poking around the site it seems to have some pretty good info.

I just purchased a 1965 Seafair Sedan with the original '65 Merc 100 HP Tower-of-Power. The previous owner had re-done the transom and floor, so I'm hoping my restoration work will be mostly cosmetic. Been looking for one of these for almost 3 years, and after seeing some in really POOR shape, I'm thrilled with my find!

I also have a restored '64 Duo (14') Runabout with a '61 Evinrude 40HP Lark. My better half tells me it may be time to start looking for Fleet Insurance.

Anyway, I'll stay tuned and hope to glean some of the group's collective wisdom.

    GO PACK!!

No, not quite in the NW but Hey, you still talking about boats.
Yes, there seems to be a few of the boys own these.
I too have one that I will never have time to get around to restoring.

Too many classics, not enough time (nor knees, shoulders, back )

Make sure to check with our Sister club south of us as I know they have a few floating around as well.

Welcome! :cool1:Love the hull design on these boats. The wife and I had my Sunliner out crabbing a couple weeks ago. It was as rough as I've ever been in, maybe 4-6 foot waves. That hull took it pretty well. We were getting splash over the bow, but no full waves. Would of headed for shelter in any other boat of this size. Love that blue as well! Picture is of my Sunliner and Steve's Sedan. Happy boating!:boater1:
