Hey, y'all! I joined this group a week or so ago but have been super-busy. I'm currently neck-deep restoring a 1958 Chris Craft Commander but thought you might like to see a little project I tackled a few years ago. "Matriarch" was purchased in LaConner, WA and trucked here to SC. I'm not trying to get free advertising...we're a landlocked local business...but our website matriarchyacht.com has lots of photos you might find interesting. The "Before and After" page listed at the bottom of the "Restoration" page may be of particular interest.

After the '58 Chris, I'm going to really downsize and tackle a Glasspar del Mar that I recently purchased. I need a break!

What a beautiful boat!! Makes me want to book a trip to SC for a cruise! Amazing amount of work. Can't wait to see the work on your Commander.
