    Hello fellow Classic boat lovers.
We (my wife and I) are the happy and proud owners of this 1950 Burchcraft 14' Runabout.
Had it out in Lake Pyramid yesterday for the first time after we spent some months renovating her.
She (Strudel is her name) is powered by a 1955 Mercury 20 outboard that ran great.
We found out that there are only 4 left including "Strudel" so that made it even more important that we tried to keep her as original as possible.Strudel2.jpg

        Thank you Sir.
It was a pleasure working on her....My wife did all sanding while I was at work.....it took many weekends to finish...but yesterday Strudel finally touched water.

Yes, very good job on her, and the Wife helping really makes things more special I feel as now both of you have that warm feeling when the boat is done and ready to sail.

I seem to find myself spending more time working on them then sailing them it seems.

          Very good job

Great job! I too think it's cool that your wife helped...congrats she's a keeper (the wife too)

The surprising part is you have enough water to run a boat in! By all news accounts, at least up here in WA, is CA is all dried up!
