1961 Uniflite Boat with trailor for Sale. Great fixer upper. Boat comes with trailor and motor. Boat has small cabin infront.
Titles for boat and trailor are both clear.

She was a really clean find...I mean REALLY clean...except for the brush paint job and the big ugly black round 60hp thing hanging off the back she's just in need of a good updating...

(and one of Bill's Bearcats (which is scheduled for installation on the 24th ;-)

The addiction is under control...I even offered to split another cool find with another member...not taking the whole boat when I only needed the windshield and some trim...

slowly but surely she comes under control...especially since I've REALLY run out of room

Look in the pics below...there's room for another boat between the Delmar and the Uniflite and if you look closely there's even room for 1 more in the "boat house"...

got a little surprise when I was testing areas of the Uniflite this afternoon to see what I was up against with that brush paint...it's a baby poop brown boat ;-p

cool little tag in the splash well proving that it always has been a "local" boat...

Too bad someone did a crap paint job on the Uniflite.......
Looked good in the pics being red and white like that.
I wonder whats under the brown. Might remove a few canvas screws or some other hunk of hardware to see what color is under it.
Who knows, might be the crap paint is hiding a good gel coat underneath it all.

I have Never seen a boat that was Brown and White.

Got to go back and get a look see again on those pictures

Just went back and looked at that tail fin.

If it was me, I would hit it with some heavy 3m and a buffer or even with some wet and dry, say 1500, then some polish to see what kind of shine that would put out.
Talk about a Interesting paint scheme for sure

I'll strip/compound/buff and polish the hatch tomorrow while we're getting the hardware off and see how that works...shoot you a pic later on

Yes on the move.......... Never moved a thread so I will attempt to move it and see what happens.

Ahhh......That won't work. What I found to move the Thread was it was going to move ALL of them in that whole category. Got to do some reading when I get more time.

That looks like it would be pretty nice buffed out, Ric. I wonder why it was painted over?
