  • Skagit 20 Express power

Skagit 20 Express owners...what do you guys think is the best size motor for this boat. My use is light crusing and putting around on the Columbia River. No need for high speed but like to be respectable. I'm talking new 4-stroke power...I like the old boats but the old motors are out for me. I'm thinking 90-115? Your imput is respected.
    Thanks, Charlie

Four-stroke power for your Skagit 20

    Charlie -

My vote would be for a 115 four-stroke, which gives you enough reserve power to carry occasional guests (or that huge load of fish you're going to catch) and still achieve a decent cruising speed at three-quarter throttle.
