  • Would anyone like to take over my project?

Another summer is going by with no money to devote to my boat, and now we're going to be downsizing to a smaller house and there won't be space for the extra project kicking around (I also have a project car). It needs a new home.

I would love to give it away, boat and trailer, good WA title included, to someone who'll finish it. I hesitate to put it on CL, because I want to see it get done, not just get picked up by someone who grabs it because it's free. I have the transom out, I've fitted the wood for a new one. The trailer is good, the only trick will be securing the boat deck back on the hull and getting it tied down for transport. Anyone interested?

Here's all the details about the boat:

The project car is a 74 Mustang, and it's my first car. I hunted it down a few years ago and bought it back - 12 years after I had sold it! I love that car. Somehow I WILL hang onto it and get it finished someday It gives me warm fuzzies just seeing it sitting there.

Sounds like the boat is going to work out with Greg. That's a huge relief. When I found it the owner was trying to sell the trailer, with the intention that whoever bought it could take the boat to the dump and unload it - I couldn't see that happen! The boat has way too much potential, and it's much closer to being done than some projects I've seen. I'm sure it can be back on the water again someday.
