  • Mason Lake Recap--31 Boats (!!)

I won't have time to upload photos until tomorrow, but wow, what a gathering of vintage wood and classic-glass boats--31 in total, not including the old Chris-Craft runabout that was for sale in the parking lot. We even had some incredible classic cars show up as a bonus, and the weather was great...not to mention the endless potluck, so a good time was had by all.

As one person said, "I haven't seen this much eye candy in one place for a LONG time...)

Hopefully, others will load some photos soon.

Just a great day with friends and some wonderful old boats...

I just created the Mason Lake Event Photo album area as so everyone can upload to it.
    Just click on Community
    Pictures and Albums.
Go to the Mason album and start your uploading.
When done, click on the Folder right next to the Northwest Classic Boat Club that is in the upper left hand corner.

    Enjoy

      Hi Chuck.
Once the album is open, look at Category, then Event Photos, then Mason.

Can't hurt it, just poke around in there and you will find it

It would be easier for you to just go back and delete the funky images and upload again.
My options are Dump the whole lot and I sure don't want to do that...

                      Hi Dan.
Well, I have gone in and looked and it Should be open to everyone.
Seems as the title Guest does not have that option - which I will ask our Forum Programmer to look at.

Everyone should at least be able to go Look at it as well as Edit and Delete there own photos.........

The way its setup right now is pretty lame.......

Oh, I see that it says I am a guest. I still can't get in to look at the alubums. Why is it I am listed as a guest? I am registered.

                          Hi Dan.

Well, that would be my fault.
I suggested that we have areas that only Members could access. Reason for that is to give Paid Members something that Non Paid Members had.

The way its setup, one a person registers is they become a Guest.
                          Paid members become Members.

Its not working out very well.
The Plan was to try to get more support for what it costs for all this stuff.
I am just a volunteer with my time but we have a bunch of expenses that need to be covered, like Insurance, Program updates, Hosting fees, Programming fees and it all ads up quick.

                            Thanks Tim...

I was so caught up in having a boat that ran well that I didn't get as many shots as I had planned on...

maybe at a future event we can set up a time for a dedicated photo run for all of the boats...

or then again you could always come over to West Seattle and we could get some nice sunset shots on Elliot Bay with the Spacey Needle as a backdrop...

hmmm... a NWCBC Calendar??? that could be a good club fundraiser...

                            ;-p

Hmmm ... a sunset cruise on Elliot sounds like a great idea. The calender? Another great idea! I'll volunteer to help if there's anything I can do.
