  • Dinghy falls apart!

Seems granddaughter Sarah put a bit too much muscle into rowing the dinghy on it's initial float test. Noticed a foot long crack in the paint just below the gunwale. Turned out the flex in the hull wasn't just a matter of a thin hull. It is glass on outside, veneer inside and paint over that. The veneer is rotten for about 5-6 feet and several inches deep. Guess I'm going to need a gallon of resin and a fair amount of cloth to make this right.

Im glad to see a young lady out there testing this stuff out so that in the end her Grandparents are safe . She should be proud of herself. John

Never thought of it that way. And to think, I was considering cutting her out of my will for destroying my dinghy! Oh, she never was in my will. Tough luck kid!
