Hi and Welcome to the group Eric.

A little more information will go a long ways here.
    I seen fins and unique.
Are you able and willing to do some work on one?
Do you want it Turn key ?
    How about the range, 14ft, 16ft, 19 to 20ft ?

Open boat, Cuddy cabin maybe ?

Lots of people to help here if you can do some work yourself.
For instance, I have a 1959 Skagit Skimaster that needs some work.
They have fiberglass stringers but mine has a soft spot towards the rear seats in the floor..
Solid transom and the rest of the boat is solid, just that one soft spot in the floor.
Does Not look as good as she does in the picture now but without a trailer and motor, $750.00

      Hi Helmar,
Thanks, for the reply, I will define this a little better.
I am looking for an open boat, 4 to 6 seater in the 14' to 18' range, no cuddy, I would like it complete with a vintage motor and trailer and would require title for both since I would be importing it into Canada.
Turn key would be nice but if the right boat comes along I would restore it.
I am a cabinet maker by trade and do restorations as a hobby, I have restored cars, gas pumps, antiques and am currently heavily into Golden and Silver age Jukeboxes so if anyone is interested in trades.

      Thanks, Eric.

        Hi, Eric,
I have a '56 Skagit Tyee that may fit the bill for you. Text me your email to 253-223-4934 and I'll send you a bit of info this weekend. You can try to call, but I often cannot pick up.

Yes, I will get the ones I am willing to let go of in the classified's soon. Going to talk to Super Sportster and see if he is willing to give up one of his Homelite engines to make it turnkey.
If I go that far, might try and get one of my boys to help replace what is needed for the floor.

Once I do that, it will be priced accordingly. Last one that was up here that I remember was Chuck's and it was sold and went to California I think...

Not many of these left. I know of only one or maybe two others...
I can come up with a trailer for pretty cheap too.

I just posted my Skimaster in the classified. Don't really want to sell it but owning 3 Skagits is more then my old body seems to want to take care of. It is a really good boat and I will only sell it to a good home. Clint

In that post, I was talking about the Skimaster and thought you sold yours to some place in California.
So it went to where in Oregon?

Went to some guy south of Portland. That was the guy that was trying to screw me out of the second hardtop. Only kept the hardtop on for a few shows that it was in. On the water it was very hard to get in & out of. When the guy came to pick it up after paying for it 3 weeks before, he wanted to dicker some on the price. Told him he had already paid and i had mailed him the title to him at that time. Told him it's your boat , so there is not any wheel and dealing now. What a guy !
