        50,000 Miles...

        Pretty impressive demonstration of earlier Mercs, but I was also taken by the runabouts...which looked like they might have been built by Aristocraft (?) (Anybody know...?)

          I recently read Iron fist which desribes in fascinating detail Kiekhaefer's approach to NASCAR, which was basically a fanatical focus on winning. Great book, for anyone who hasn't read it.

              those are great engines. wouldn't mine having one myself. the boats are Raveau, designed and built by Marcel Raveau. now they are built by Bob Walwork. he builds em in different lenghts and now with a mod v-bottom. google up the name and you can find his site. really nice boats if you can find the issue of wooden boat #219 ther is a read on em.
