  • Seen it all now!

Ok ,a friend set me up to view a custom hull he needed some help with....:shocked4:
Try a 1972 Tahiti with a 1960 Bryant Fiberglass Hardtop UPPER SHELL,CHOPPEDCutUp1,and sporting F-16 Fighter Polycarbonite windshields (3/4 thick).
Has a 175 V-6 Evinrude Ocean Pro for power and does mid 50`s.:Police1:
The hardtop has holes that are a must even for the layed back driving position.
Oh yeah ,the owner glassed in Fins like an Impala and Shark Teeth "Flying Tiger" teeth to "set it Off".
Like a 175 hp Chopped-top Bryant /Tahiti Classic needs anything more to set it off.
Best part ,the owner has leased a huge garage /Warehouse with space for multiple sublets and room for maybe 50 Boats.
Pics tomorrow when I pack the camera along......

      Pics of RatRod,Chopped and Hopped!

      Here you go Patrick ,
I know this will make Slo-Mo`s ears twitch.
Notice the thru-roof Tow Bit with boxed fiberglass re-inforcement.
Seems the owner worked on the Our gang Racing Unlimited with my buddy Nate Brown and has some good glass skills and experiance with Raceboats.
The top is from a Bryant and had the corners and supports stretched and back-glassed.
You can jump on the roof but in rough water, looks like a head crusher.

        Gordon, you need this boat!

Looks like it is going fast just sitting on the trailer.
Lovely La Rue and the Kingston Kid

Way until you guys see the inside and interior.
The owner glassed in a driver/passenger seatbox with subwoofer enclosure (now the tow bit base assy, priorities changed mid-stream).
Note the windows are fully armoured leftovers from an Unlimited Safety pod set-up.
The Rear seat enclosure has a Flip -up fiberglass lid that smoothly hinges off the splashwell front lower lip,ALL Flush and concealing battery and pump.
Boat is fully foamed forward, aft and in the corners.
RED LEDs are in progress for the Tailfins and I`ll be slipping some into the running light circut for some cool effects after dark.
Need to figure out how to backlight the Red Teeth!
A Turbine Hydro Exhaust shroud and some propane exhaust with remote lighting via a BBQ igniter would keep people from following too closely ,OR for housing the JATO Rocket assist take-off mechanism.
You lay down in this hull and feel like you are going fast just sitting there.
Trim it out on a Full Moon Evening ,Throttle it up ,and then go for the Moon!
Only your mind can stop you now.....
Will get more pics of the rest as I see it on Monday ,maybe even water testing!
We`ll be in Ballard so stand by and we`ll try to give fair warning if we go splash it.Film at 11:00.....
Seeing this has me looking at my G3/135 hp Johnnie just a little bit more.
Only my wife would stop me now.....

                  Tim,

Check this out for your power plant. Go fast and lots of noise. Maybe my twelve foot Elgin Lummie would like this power.:nono1:

One of my coworkers was big into this pulse jet engines, he had a little homemade one mounted on a bicycle that was no bigger than coffee can and it really scooted!!! i wouldn't want it anywhere near a fiberglass hull but would get you headed to the moon in a hurry!!!
