OK, this is to just show off my new/old Homelite 55 bronze badge. I'm using it for my avitar. Didn't cost that much to have made, spent more time on the clean-up and shine. Also check out my transom screws. SHINE ON.

How much work did you have to do on them? Were they pretty rough to start with?

The badge was a raw casting so there was a lot of clean-up. I used a dremel and it did good. The transom screw handles were painted, and the ends of the screws were gone so the cups just fell off. I machined the ends of the screws back a bit to 3/8" dia. instead of what it was (5/16" I think), cut a groove for a e-clip, drilled out the cups to match, and made nylon covers. Presto....like new.Comment

I was wondering about the badge, about how much work you had to do to get it looking like that. I should have said "it" instead of "them".
