      I love that boat

I found that boat along time ago for free on cavelero hill East of Everett. I think it would be one of the coolest runabouts in the classic boat fleet. Id like to have it back if nobody takes it. please somebody take it. Perfect project for adult/kid to do. Simple seat in front. Tanue cover on back. My 1969 mercury 20 hp cruised along just fine. Out of all the Skagit 14's, I have never seen that type of deck on one.
I have a sportster and gave away a utility, but that style is pretty one of a kind.

          The Skagit 14

          Hey Joe,

Would the trailer make it from your place to LaConner?

I have a new honda 20 that is looking for a boat.

Something to putt around Skagit bay.

No idea if it would make it or not.
Tires are flat again, pumped them up from time to time, bearings, who knows.
It might need tires and a bearing pack at least.
It has some slotted mag wheels on the trailer, not sure if they are 13" or 14".
Its not my boat, its Martys.

Hey Joe, I thought you were a friend of Marty's and now I learn you are trying to give away HIS boat? Just a tip: When you try to give away someone else's boat, don't tell the truth about the condition of the trailer. Assure them that the trailer is good to go and send them packing down the road. Or maybe tell Steve to bring his 20 hp Honda over and put it on the boat and drag it to the water. You unstrap the boat from the trailer, release the trailer hitch and back it down. With a little luck (and deep water) the boat floats off and the trailer disappears in the briny! (Insert a bunch of smiley face symbols about here.)
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness.":shocked4:

Thats why I am "helping" with that boat.
I think both Ole and myself have taken the reality test. In reality, we have Way to many projects for our age so its letting some of them go.

Well, that an Ole is really a Wood boat guy by heart.

Ole and Helmar are still Team Norse Force

                  skagit 14

                  Thanks Joe,

I think that is too far, on a questionable trailer.

I'll keep looking up here in my hood.

Steve, Just take the PT ferry and that would cut down on the travel time for that trailer. Chuck

I think Martys trailer is better than the one I use to tow the Skimaster with.
There is no weight so the first thing would be to pump up the tires, then jack up the wheel and just spin it. if its noisy, put some grease in it.

Would I try to tow that say from Oregon up here??
Yes I would. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty either

                        Trailer not needed

I threw this boat in the back of my pickup to get it home. Of coarse I only went three miles. John

Not so sure I could do that myself but in looking at that trailer, its not looking that bad. I might go down and put the pump on the tires again just to see how long they hold air. Kind of a cute trailer too.
Maybe get a few more detail pictures of it too.

I think the gel coat would buff out too.:TakePicture1:
