wow, I hope somebody get this. It looks and sounds like quite boat. No price though. The text of the ad is "All original no restoration needed just finish coat of varnish and paint. You will not find a wood boat in this kind of condition ( outside of a museum ) just moved outside for the first time in its life. Must go quick or I will donate to wooden boat museum.

    Call Paul (253) 677-4175."

      Norseman

I talked to the seller, who wants $1,000 for the boat without trailer. Some question about whether there's a title or not.

Hope it ends up in the club--I'd make an offer, but can't afford yet another boat right now.

        Norsman headed to Poulsbo

One of the problems with posting sightings of really special boats is thinking about them some more and finding they want to come home with you. This wonderfully original and pristine Norsman will be headed to Poulsbo on Tuesday.

All the boat parts are in two boxes wrapped in newspaper dated 1971. It has been in the owner's attached garage since then and before. Much more fun than a barn find.

        More pictures later...

Glad you raced up to Tacoma, Bruce.

Being a long-time fan of Norseman boats, I can't wait to see this one!

Guess I should learn to spell

In spite of the CL ad spelled Norsman, I should read the name on the side of the boat and do it correctly like our local expert Marty, and spell it Norseman.

Nice to have two Bellingham boats since the Huntoon side of my family was in Bellingham from around 1880 something into the 1950s.
