I like the looks of the Edson....condition aside. Anyone know anything about them?

Myself, I have never heard of them but that is just me. Some of our old Salts might know more.
Might try Fiberglassics.com as we used to send information on all the PNW boats to Kelly.
It just might be over there too, worth a check.

Its looks to be a very good design, standard Bell Boy Uniflite looking hull.
She looks to be very sea worthy for sure.
I would be wondering what she has for stringers as she looks as she has been outside.
Might be the next best thing to one of a kind too.

Not sure I like how she is setting on that fender.
If your interested in her, the price has to be Cheap Cheap. I would also check the bottom very carefully to make sure the hull is not hogged or pushed up and not flat.
Once they are hogged, they are pretty much land fill bait.
Not sure I recognize the out-drive. looks to be Volvo from what I can see.

I would suspect that Tim Jones, Marty Loken or Bill Roberts over at Fiberglassics would know more about her.

There was an identical Edson, very good condition (clean, electronics, etc..) though with engine issues in the Everett area Craigslist just a couple of weeks ago for $2.5k, so there are at least 2 in existance. I have my hands full with the Skagit for now

I wish we had more information on boats like that. Like, how many were produced for one.
Again, looks to be built like the Fiberforms. Built so well, the were put out of business by the cheap thin fiberglass unsafe boats.

Thats an Eaton drive inside a spring loaded pin and lever,
drive could be removed in a minute or rotated to horizontal for trailering. Volvo bought them out as their start.
