  • Clear your calendars for a South Sound event! JoEmma Beach Meetup - May 16th 2015

PREFACE: Two launch locations are listed below to accommodate members from the North and members from the South. Based on the number of participants, we may pare it down to one launch location so one location isn't cruising alone or in a much smaller group. After a roll call is established we can make an educated decision. 43 miles separate the two locations via I-5.

If we stick with two launch sites, I'm requesting a launch Captain volunteer at the Narrow's Marina location.

    JoEmma Beach

    47.2245° N, 122.8090° W

Featuring 3,000 feet of beachfront, this park offers camping, fishing, boating & picnicking
“Clean. Has great sandy beach area. Great dock. Lots of crabs and other sea creatures. Great for kids and dogs. Take picnic, etc. Wonderful views. Take water shoes though parts of beach rocks with barnacles. Hiking trails. Two clean Porta potties.” - courtesy of a google review

Since there's no other action for this thread, I think I'll move it to where there's public view of it.

So, is this event going to happen? I'm back (see other thread in member's section) and just in time to see if the event has any interest. Please post up if you want to go. By the way, my wife sent me this:
                      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG_1cO...ature=youtu.be

That video took place right where we launch in Swantown.
