      Thanks Dick...
Hey, can you post the 85 Run up you have on youtube in the Homelite Bearcat section.
Its just as simple as Cut and Paste. Maybe a little detail how you were able to sweeten her up to make her reliable and what all you did to the Carbs?
      That would be Major Cool.

I can do that, was kind of curious to see how the youtube video attachment works now.

          Scott-McCulloch Outboards

....Just to add a little note to this section, I've got a couple of McCulloch 75's and I'm looking for a parts motor to back 'em up, if anybody runs across one of the old three-cylinder 75's, which at the time had the best horsepower-per-pound ratio of any outboard manufactured. Hope to try one of them out this winter, maybe during the New Year's Run.

            Scottguy of Portland

I reringed one of those 75's about 25 yrs ago, it was a '66 Sears. My buddy who owned the engine found a guy on about 125th and Lincoln in SE Portland who had loads of parts for everything Scott-McCulloch. At the time there was very few parts that you couldn't get new from McCulloch he told us. They would back order them and when enough orders were made they would run a batch of parts to fill the orders which sometimes would take up to six months! Some parts were NLA and he would make them or have them made. I drove by there the other day and didn't see anything Scott related like many years ago. I wonder what happened to him and all the parts?
