About our Club

The Northwest Classic Boat Club celebrates vintage and classic boats of all types, including fiberglass, wood and aluminum construction. Our main focus is classic powerboats – runabouts, launches and cruisers of all sizes – but all types of vintage boats are warmly welcomed. Our member's craft range from rowboats to large cruisers, from the family fishing boat to white-knuckle speedboats. What we all share is a love of vintage boats and boating with friends.

Our motto is “Good Boats, Great Friends”

We have more “on-the-water” events than any other boat club in the region. We love to get out on the water with friends who share an interest in old boats, and constantly stress boating safety, family get-togethers and inclusion of the next generation of classic-boat lovers.

More fun on the water!

Our events include annual meets, casual get-togethers, adventure cruises and overnight camping trips and take place on the beautiful rivers and lakes of the Pacific Northwest as well as on the stunning waters of Puget Sound. Here in the Northwest we're very fortunate to have what many consider the best cruising grounds in the country right here in our back yard, what better way to explore these waters than with a group of friends that share your interest in vintage boats? An Emphasis on Safety

A major focus in the club is safety on the water. Club members are encouraged to boat safely at all times and are expected to follow our safety policy at club events. We have a practice of looking out for each other on the water and use the buddy system during adventure cruises and open water excursions. Learn more about safety

A Restoration Resource

Our forums are a very active meeting place for vintage boat lovers from all over the United States as well as other countries and are a valuable source of tips and information for the restoration and maintenance of vintage craft. Among our local club members and our extended internet “family” are both restoration pros and experienced hobbyists who have “been there, done that” and who freely share their knowledge with registered users of our forums. Our forums are managed and maintained by volunteers and are a friendly, courteous place to learn, discuss and share.
