    Seattle Boat Show

I worked the ACBS both at the boat show today and met several nice people who really like old boats. This year's booth was big enough for three boats, a rare marinized aircraft motor, and a wonderful display of antique outboards!

    We have:
    Curt Erickson's 1920's launch "Idler"
Ike Kielgass's replica of 1938 stepped hydro "Rowdy"
Our 1969 Chris Craft Cavalier "Tupperware"
    Ingvar Carlson's antique outboard display
Cole Franchini's 1959 Skeeto (for the kiddos)
    And finally Curt Erickson's 1915 Hispano-Suiza V-8

All together it makes a great booth with a little something for everyone! If you're thinking of going to the boat show this year make sure to stop by and say hello to the volunteers at the booth.

Being around Marty for those years, always wanted to restore a older wooden boat but.....Like the glass better I guess. If I was to do one, it would most likley be a Lady Clipper...

Also, can you send me a current ACBS events list ?
I would like to get that page of events going...

    Thanks Brian

"Idler" is actually available to a new home. The Erickson's are just beginning to look into letting go of some of their vast collection of boats due to not having the time to use many of them.

She has a beautiful two cylinder, 3 hp exposed inboard motor that pushes her to a blistering 6 knots! Has seating for five and the canvas top covers all passengers.
