Good find and nice Dorsett for the price.
Those hulls will ride SO much better than the Skagit, its not funny.
Great rough water hull for sure.

The boat was brought up from Arizona two years ago, and have never seen salt water.

Has the original cuhions, and comes with a better trailer. I forget what motor it has but

it is not frozen up, but is missing the igntion key.

        Winning

Looks like you are on to a good starter boat . Looks (From the one picture ) to be in decent shape. Don't think they used it to push logs. If you get the boat I have a brand new 1963 Dorsett hull tag to welcome you to the Dorsett & N.W.C.B.C. family !
A 40 H.P. is what my Catalina had on it when I first got it and it was at the minimum of the H.P. needed to get on a plane , it would do it , but had to have all the weight forward including the wife and then it took a while to level out - you may want to get up in the 65-85 H.P. range to really enjoy it !

Good luck looks like a winner for the price :boater1::Skipper1:
