I am sure that others are as bored as I am waiting for the weather and the next event. Here is a vintage shot from April 1956 of the Slough Race.

I was there.

Every year we took a picnic lunch down the road to Marymoor to watch the races. We stood right in that pasture, and parked the old chrysler on the side of the road. I'm in that crowd somewhere. That farmhouse in the background is still there, but it's surrounded by houses now.

That is the first part of a killer S-turn just before what is now the weir. It is gone now thanks to the Corps of Engineers.

I'll throw in a lake report for free. The water is low for February, We are a couple inches behind the rainfall average. A good gully washer would help.
