  • Need a Hatch Cover for a 58 Bell Boy Express Cruiser

We have a 58 Bell Boy Express and need to replace the hatch cover with and original if we can find one. Or get a form to have one made. Any ideas?

Heres another showing the hatch area a little better

We just dumbed into this boat and love it. Trying to learn more about what it was originaly. We need a steering wheel and a hatch cover with the cover being more important.

                Thanks.
                It was a customers boat.
As you can see on that website link, the boat did not get finished, but, I have more pictures to get it more complete to the point were the customer can finish it.

I really don't mind saving customers money by letting the ones that want to do the finish work on their own..

This boat was prepped and all the structure work was done for them.

I have a '59 that is mid restoration. If you can come up with a non-destructive way of getting a form off of it we can try. Or at the very least, dimension it so you can fab one from scratch.

Would love to have both the dimensions and a form to glass over. If you can at least give the dimensions I'd appreciate it. Ill think about how you might cover it and do a form.

Would it be possible to get pictures of the hatch cover and hatch opening inside and out as we dont have a clue what the assembly looked like. Thanks so much.

if you like they could be emailed to roadkrider@hotmail.com as well.

Sorry Road King, I was out half of last week and over the weekend with the family. I'll be out doing some work on it tonight and will snap some shots and dimension it. It won't be easy to get it exact, though. I'm failry certain it has a bit of a convex top and the edges are all rounded. But it might be enough to get you close! I have all the hardware too, so I'll get pics and dimensions off of that as well.
