John we took all the curved windows out so they're ready to be used as templates. I'm on the east side of the lake, ready when you are!

These are the steps to heating decide on material make a paper template of windows one each they are identical poster paper or similar trace pattern on material cut material do not remove protective cover from material yet band saw works best you can use a saber saw with medium teeth you have to run water over the blade to keep it from gumming up, don't electrocute your self. If you want to try the small windows first I can come up with more excuses to go to Olympia.

Small, large windows...whatever it takes. I'm currently off Thursdays and Fridays but that will change mid December. I'll even go out to my in-laws and bring back the blue Skagit as a backup.

It would be real nice to have his number to share with others. I remember them and they did good work at a fair price.

The only reason I am not posting Skip's info on the internet is that it is his personal cell phone, not a company phone. Middie Plastics is, for the general public, closed down... There are 2 or 3 guys still working on small projects and doing some contract work but for individual projects you have to be referred by a previous customer... There is a very strong likelihood that Skip will finally retire in 2017, at which point it is most likely that the Middie Plastics building will likely go up for sale marking the true demise of the once great manufacturer.

Also, I have an update on Melanie's Skagit... I decided to stop by their house yesterday and just knock on the door, since our old contact info is no longer valid.. It turns out, like many us experience periodically, they have been dealing with sick parents and other family issues which have prevented them from playing with their beloved Skagit. They are NOT interested in selling it or the McChesney they have stored away. They are hopeful that with finally getting some relieve from the family issues, and after a move this winter, they are hoping to have the Skagit back in the water for spring 2017!! Which means over the winter we may see some posts from Melanie on the forum seeking parts, or advice, to get the old boat back together!
