Given the other boats you are pursuing, are you actually linked up with the seller of the Skagit 20 in Newport? If not, what did you learn to abandon that one?

I give up - to me " On it " means I'm hooking up the trailer and putting my fake license plate on for the ride home ! I just went and grabbed a boat for somebody in California - it's not that tough . :computers1:

Well first of all the trailer is garbage and needs to be welded. Second of all it is in Newport Oregon, and like hell if I'm dragging a boat home that far with a derilect trailer.
No boat is worth safety of myself or other people on the road. Thirdly I'm not going to wast my time and gas to drive 8 hours down, then 8 hours back for a "good buy" Now if you wanted to drag it up for me for the price of fuel Kool. My pockets are not deep as
yours, and I chose to spend my money wisely.

Yeah, some of the deals are not as sweet as one might think, but then again, if its the, Right One.....

We took our little RV from Sandy Oregon, went up into Canada to bring our 59 Skagit 20 offshore home.

Skagit 20 now has a new home

The Newport Skagit 20 has now been purchased. The trailer problem was solved when someone in Portland had a great deal yesterday on a 2004 EZ loader bunk trailer (17-20' model with a serious #3100 rating) that was about as clean as one can find in a used trailer. Pictures of the Skagit 20 will follow once it has been picked up and gets to its real home.
