  • Uniflite - in the movies

I watched Mud last night. A decent movie. What caught my eye was the boat in the film that was stuck in a tree. At first, all I saw was the bottom, but it looked like a uniflite. Sure enough, later in the film they got her down and launched. The film is set in LA but who knows where the boat came from. Definitely a fixer upper!

I found this shot on a quick google search, but thee are other full view shots during the film.

Cool, that is interesting for sure. Its just so sad that we only have what little information provided by us on the trailer-able Uniflites.
Might give that a watch as I like Matthew McConaughey. Good ol southern boy.

Give it a go. He is an entertaining actor. And seeing that boat up in the trees was really weird!

you should have put NSFW in the title!
Cool that a Uniflite was in a modern movie though!

          Ha ha. Funny.
Ya, it was interesting to see an old boat in a new movie. I'm a fan of older movies, and I love when they have marinas in films from the 60s and 70s. All kids of classics to see!
