Hi Bruce, There was a person in Oregon that went by "Dorsett Dierick" that pass a way a few years ago. I think this might be his former boat as i went to look at it about two years ago in Snohomish. At that time the floor was out along with the bulkhead as well...no seats.

Good find, but I think $1450 is a bit much. At least in the photos anyway. What length is that? Looks to be around 20 feet?

John, it's 21 feet. You are right , it is about $850.00 to much as a person is going to put thousands and thousands into one.... i know !

They didn't say if she was a runner or not. If so, it looked usable anyway to me. Could be one of those works in progress ?

          Good find....

My husband and I just bought this project! Very excited and overwhelmed! My husband restored a 27' Hunter sailboat a number of years ago......but we're old now!! Nothing has been done to it....still no floor, bulkheads are out. We're going to have roughly a million questions, so if there are any kind and knowledgeable people out there, we'll be posting!! We'll post photos later. Does anyone know of a Farallon locally that we could take a look at? Thank, Laurie & Grizz.

Chuck had help with the hard stuff I did not submit all the detailed photos on that resto and should have some of those to share.

To answer your question, Yes, you have help here.
Most of us are old too, just makes things slower.

                    Hi Helmar,
Thanks so much! We'll be trying to do this ourselves, so it may not be as pretty as Chuck's boat!
Any photos you have of the restoration would really be appreciated. I've downloaded some of them from this site. At the moment we're sort of sitting staring at the boat, but when we get our brains back we'll be on here constantly torturing anyone who will listen with questions! My husband's goal is to get it into the water and running (not finished) by next summer.
