      Steve, thanks for the heads up and keeping an eye out for me. However we are looking at something in the 28-30 foot "six-sleeper" range. I think I have my wife sold on the Chris Craft Catalina 280 which is a three piece fiberglass molded construction, either single V8 or twin V6's. But we have our second child coming in November so I don't get to buy anything until hopefully next spring...

          Congratulations Brian on #2.

          You will get on the saltwater sooner or later. There is so much to see and do up there, you don't want to miss it. It can turn nasty out there, so your idea of a larger vessel is not a bad idea. Plus more comfort for the family.

            This is a little further south than I would want to travel but that motor would be very nice to restore.

              That motor is stuck but it comes with the motor too.
