NO LONGER FOR SALE NO LONGER FOR SALE NO LONGER FOR SALE

    I have this motor, a 1965 SN18402D...

    Does anybody have an opinion?

It was demonstrated to me in a barrel, started on first pull with fresh gas and with choke out. Have not had opportunity to test in the water which is something I plan to do.

Just discussing posibilities at this time. Don't really need it for what I do, but might make a perfect motor for a 14' or as kicker....

Would come with pristine 6 gallon tank and new hose.

      65 Evinrude 18

I agree with Super Sportster. We had a 1957 18 on our new Sabrecraft when I was a kid. Always ran perfect. I have two of these that were my brothers. Think the paint and decals are slightly different. One of the 18's I have is like new, the other is new.

I advertised them on Craig's a couple times for a grand, but no interest. I suppose a really clean one is worth $400-$500.

The 1965 18 was my bros trolling motor of choice. Push a 13 Whaler over 25 MPH and troll all day without fouling plugs. Great motors....
Think the one you have may be a 1966.

        If you want this 18:

If you need it, I will take the first $650.00 cash.

This comes with tank, hose and extended control rod (extends steering rod to middle seat.)

Also since I have not tested it underway comes with limited money back guarantee.

Uh, must be something wrong with it if you are selling it that cheaply!

            18 hp Evinrude problem fixed!!

Today traded "Working Welder" for 14' Skagit with bad trailer.

Anybody scraping out 14' Skagit that has functional trailer let me know.

Don't have a lot of money for this puppy but who knows.

                Yes!

I've got to do some checking first?

Let me get back to you after that. I really don't need another boat.

                Thanks.

                Regards,

Well, the reason I'm giving away the trailer is to get rid of the boat, so they're a package deal. You could make a stop at the transfer station on your way home, the cost of dumping the boat isn't much to pay for a usable trailer.

You might want to take the boat home and strip it first though, it has it's original aluminum trim in decent to good shape, including an excellent windshield frame, the rub rail end caps, rub rail, cockpit trim.
