  • OMC 120 carb needed

Any one have one of these? This motor is a 1968 OMC 120 and I would like to put a 2 bbl carb on it. Prefer a rochester type. I have a later model Roch. carb that won't match up on bolt hole pattern. Need the one that looks like a race track oval shaped gasket. Willing to trade this carb and an old 2bbl Holley carb or just pay cash.
The intake manifold # is OMC-1-981462. yrs: '77-'81. I think the original carb # is supposed to be 381182.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I too would be interested in who might have a back yard full of these later OMC's. I would think that should be fairly common as they sure made a ton of boats with that little chevy engine.

Some of those more undesirable boats of that era make good donors to repower other boats.

I would also think in your area should be a boat bone yard or two to possibly find one that does not need to be overhauled.
