They are morse cables. They fit Johnson Evinrude Morse shows a kit for 33c ? cables but I didn't see the attaching pin in the bag. You might be able to use the old one or scrounge up a used one. Any way a morse dealer should fix you up.

Scrounging up an old used one is what I had in mind. I did find a Teleflex Morse adapter kit that looks like it has the black connector included. It's only about $35 but I hate buying parts I don't need. Hopefully somebody has one laying around.
          Thanks for the info.

I have a couple of storage tubs, In storage, that I can look in once I get back over there.

I have seen those on some of the OMC outboards.

Those are not a common part. It looks possible to make one, I have one of the attachment pins if it comes down to it.

I would check with Bill. I'm sure he'd have one.

                  Helmar & John,
Thanks for the reply and suggestions. I do have a metal ball joint style connector on it now which works fine so I'm not exactly stranded. I would just like one that is more 'original'. Maybe one will turn up.

Kelly, I did post to Fiberglassics also but nothing yet. I have bought parts from Bill before so maybe I should try him direct though he seems to get real busy at times.

I had to try a few times to contact him but once I did I had a new impeller the next day! Good luck!
