I have been checking around but so far, none are popping up. They Are around for sure. I know of one that needs a total restoration.
Pretty much any one of these you find if the stringers and transom have not been replaced, going to need it.. Can't find a better riding boat in my book, And, I own 4 Skagits.

Wow....I did some searching just on Craiglist in places I knew were they were at. Like Spokane, Port Angles and No one has them listed right now. I think one was in Shelton Wa as well.
The only Craiglist ad I seen that had one was down in Sacramento and it was a Red 59.
I also know of a San Juan Outboard that is between me and the Coast down here but My First Choice would be the San Juan with the I/O like we have on rotation on our main web page.
For the size, its hard to beat the Dorsett Catalina for its ride in choppy water. It was designed to be running in the San Francisco Bay in all that chop.

I will find his number and call him tomorrow as he works swing shift. I might even have pictures of it, no, I do have pictures of it as it was mine at one time. Lets see if he wants to sell it.

Mich and I found a clean 1961 Dorsett, bought from Helmar. What a nice guy, and under sold the boat. Mich was in love with the boat instantly. We slapped some tires on at the first tire shop and headed down the road for 350 miles home, long weekend. We started to work the night we got home sunday 6pm. We will start a new thread but not in classifieds. Thanks for the yacht.
