    Hey All!
Just been working, but occasinoally get the Skagit 31 Saratogan out and about.
Last weekend took the old girl to a launch party in Port Townsend. This is the schooner I worked on for about 2-1/2 years the S/V Destiny. She's been on the hard in PT for about three years. Great party with live music and lots-O-food...but she didn't get splashed.....prolly another three months work.

Sounds like the Saratogan launch party that few of you attended...your loss.

Put about 50 hours on the boat and had lots "O" people aboard. Still working on the details..

here is a pic taken at Jones Island a few weeks ago....I'll post more pics if
    interested....
Second pic...crossing Juan De Fuca (John of Fuca) as you can see it was as the late Ivar Hagland was often fond of saying "quite clam"...
    cheers,
    McSkagit

That what the "autopilot" is for.. Set a course and then go below and make lunch, take a nap, or tap the keg!!! That's how boating was meant to be done... Devil19

          autopilot

My autopilot consists of a string tied to the wheel. I don't leave the wheel often...sometimes just to grab a photo-op.

Trying to decide where to take the Saratogan to LaConner for the Classic Boat and Auto show. Had planned to,but is the same weekend as the Lattitudes and Attitudes party which is in Friday Harbor this year..

Tim, What is the lattitudes and attitudes party in Fri. Harbour? Sounds interesting. Might try that myself.

Have a "Cheeseburger in Paradsise" for me,
And remember, "it's always five o'clock somewhere".
After that you'll be "Wasted away in Margaritaville"!

                Lattitudes and Attitudes Cruising Club

Latts and Atts Cruising Club....mostly offshore cruisers, but open to anyone. Bob Bitchin in LA put the club together and publishes Lattitudes and Attitudes Magazine...Now named Seafaring Magazine I'm guessing due to a conflict with Jimmy Buffet's song and lifestyle of the same name.

Great bunch "O" people...big party with live music in Sunken park in the heart of FH.

Make the party if you can...you won't be disappointed.
