It is so much more fun destroying a boat deliberately. I've been stripping a damage Bayliner for parts. It was driven up on the beach at Lummi Island last year and holed. Now parts are going to the Pacific Marine Exchange in Bellingham for recyling. Loving this destruction. If I can't get at something to remove it correctly, out comes the Sawzall and I just cut around it. Today the shift lever and cables came off and I got a good start on removing the steering. Got a little 4 banger Chev engine and outdrive to remove. Let's see. Cut away the transom and the hull and jump back. Right?

Okay, all you Bayliner lovers. These pics are for you. However, when I went looking for ID on the boat, I didn't find a name anywhere. Whatever it is, the motor and outdrive are out. The outdrive goes up and down. Pastor Chris has motor and outdrive on a pallet and he thinks he will get the motor running and sell them as a package. Makes me wonder at times, who owns the boat or what finance company or bank owns it.
Some times in Oregon, it better to find them with NO ID on them at all.

If you are going to cut up your skagit, let me know. I am on the hunt for a portion of a bow from a classic boat. I'd like to make a table out of one for my garage.
I'd be happy to come out and hit it with my rip saw.
