  • Saratogan haulout

A couple pics of the 31 Saratogan hauled out last April at Jensen's Shipyard. Raised the water line for the third (and hopefully last) time. General maintenance, props changed, zincs. Straightened the port strut. Realigned the port engine.

Will be hauling out again in about a month. Will change back to the original props, 18 x 21 Dynaquads which I like better than the 22's. Will have the 22's repitched to 21's.

Although fiberglass, this boat is still very labor intensive!

    Tim:

That 31 Skagit is built like a tank. I am particularly impressed with the bow on view and the heaviness of the keel and stem.

I just purchased for a ridiculously low price a Skagit Sportster, and put a new motor on it. I have to rewire it and put running lights on it. I was thinking that a few will be displaying at La Conner boat show next year, I would put that boat next to yours at the show. It would make a nice contrast. What do you think?
