Watch your settings in Paypal

Hold up guys. I just looked and then got a message from Paypal that some how Paypal wants to bill your account every year ????

Unless you guys selected that, I got to get in and get it figured out why the hell its doing that.

I got one message from Paypal that a payment was received.
Then, I get another message stating You created a Automatic Payment Profile....

Did you guys do that ???

Also, Clint, I see it did not change your status from Registered User to Supporting Member.
Some how your account never was changed and should be Automatic....
Going to dig into this...

Mine is set to automatic yearly payment also.
And still a registered user

Automatic renewal was not done by me with PayPal unless I missed something in sending the money. I have since deleted automatic renewal for NWCBC on PayPal. I don't like being signed up for something without my approval. I may be to blame or Paypal may be to blame. Clint

Hi Clint...Its a paypal thing I found out. Anything to hustle more money out of us. More we spend though them, the more they get.

So, its not the club doing this, its Paypal. Glad you were able to get it taken off.

I know there is a way to set up the PayPal payment as a donation from which the PayPal folks get NOTHING! They only get a percentage if it is money transferred as payment for something.
