  • It's alive!

Yahooo. Ol' Midnight Sun came back from the dead today. After a year of messing around trying to find time to work on her, I finally got her done. After rebuilding the distributor, the carb, thermistats and new fuel tanks, and much work on the trailer, she started right up. Purrs like a kitten. I don't want to jinx anything, but we're going to try to get to the Columbia event. The last time she ran was on the river so this should be a good time to get back in the water.

              Great news

Mike, Fran and I are looking forward to seeing you at the Columbia event next weekend. And we're taking your and Judy's advice: we're putting off major repairs until next winter and going boating now. Way to go on the engine repairs! - Scott
