Well a little update on the Tournament....Hole patched engines done and ready to be dropped in...Then on to paint(most likely this spring unless I get a wild hair this fall. I am thinking about going with a medium grey side black bottom paint with a red stripe and a white deck. Building the wood transom too. I love this guys boat.

That looks pretty impressive.
Looks as a all around fishing machine..What water is that boat setting in ?

For your transom if you don't actually need the structure of a planked transom you can achieve the same look by laminating a piece of door skin mahogany. My parent's 38' Tolleycraft Mariner has this treatment done and it looks sharp!

The WANDERER is down in Florida on the gulf coast if i remember right. The owner spent quite a bit of time on the restoration and it shows.

Good idea Brian. I might have to try that it looks really good.

Yes on the time to do that. Its not a couple of weekend's kind of job for sure.
When we did Bruce's Bell Boy, that one took over a year..
I had a 24 footer that I was going to use as my San Juan Gunk Holing boat but never got that far.
