    Plywood Boat in Spokane

    Bruce -

Very cool boat, but I doubt it was made by Sabrecraft--at least in 1958. By then the company was completely into fiberglass hulls...and I'm not sure they ever produced a design like this.

    (Hey, anything's possible, but...)

The hull design looks more Bryant-like--especially the clipper-style bow.

      Early Sabrecraft

That's a great looking boat. Wondering if it is ply or carvel planked? Nice restoration. Might be a Sabrecraft prototype.....

      My 2 cents..

I'd be betting on plywood from the looks of the hull from the bow view. The stern looks similar to what Clippercraft was doing then.

Light weight plywood and 115 hp makes a real windy ride.
