Dang, looks like those cylinder walls were just honed. Best bet is a parts engine,... or two.

      Good luck man!

I took another block that needs seat replaced to two machine shops the other day. One shop said they could repair it, the other said no. Think maybe I'll call the fellow in Beaverton I bought some parts from a while back. He had lots of Crosley parts and seemed well schooled in these engines. I'm thinking he would know if anyone around here that could do this machine work.

Made a call to this guy, he said he had bought all the equipment to do the job from a place that went out of business and offered to let me use it if I wanted to do it myself. He also suggested a shop where he had his last Crosley race engine built, they did the valves. Looked them up in the phone book and they appear to still be in business and not that far away. I'll check with them next week.

Well, you know if you go into them that much that the chances of making another long lasting engine is pretty promising for sure.

            :boater1: Pretty amazing motors
