  • Angled prop on Evinrude?

So I saw this on craigs list and I'm wondering what the purpose is to have the prop angled like this. Is it so the gas tank can drain as the motor tilts forward, keeping the thrust in line?

Maybe it's for light boats to help counter the engines weight?

    Weedless

That is a "Weedless" lower unit design as oppsed to the 90 degree standard models.Props may interchange and maybe even the lowers.
It for shallow water running in grassy lakes.
