  • Garage space...

So every time my better half walks through the garage I hear "did you get ANOTHER boat motor???" I'm up to six now. Darn things are getting harder to hide...

Check out the row of Johnson's, two of which are going on the BB16. I was frustrated one day trying to clean the garage so I built myself a heavy duty outboard cart on wheels that holds all four of them. Much easier to move em all out of the way now!

    Johnson 40's

I have a few Johnson engines that I need to deal with.
Same thing with the Merc, I just keep turning it over and over to make sure it does not stick.
Both are Long Shafts. Some day....

The two Johnsons were supposed to be runners with one having a possible flywheel issue.
I think I had found the issue and that was a bolt missing that held it in place.

The plan is to see what it takes to make one run with the possibility of using the second one for possible parts. Just haven't gotten time to get next to them again.

I can't find the file on them at the moment but it seems to me that one was a 1972 and one was a 1974 engine.

                  Good looking Johnsons

Wow! Like those 1957 35's! I had one many years ago on a P-14. A bit noisy, but put a lot of miles on it. Like the 57 color scheme. Is that the pair going on the Bell Boy 16?

Yep, those two will be on the BB16 (hopefully soon). Weather is getting nicer so I need to get back into boat mode. :Slow1:
