Just wanted to share pics of the coolest boat ride I ever took. This was on the Yalu river just across from N. Korea. Man that boat was FAST! I'm guessing we were doing at least 40 knots. On this river, there's no such thing as too much engine.

The bridge picture (the one on the right) is what's left of the one we bombed in the Korean war. To them its kind of a trophy. The ferris wheel on the far shore is in N. Korea. At night, there were no lights from that side of the river.

The wood boat was one we saw on the way there. It was like a neighborhood boat yard. They had two under construction at that time.

I agree, no such thing as too much engine. Cool
    Looks like a fun trip.

I know what two engines sound like side by side but can you relate to what 4 sound like ?

Magic,... yeah, like four lovely angels singing.

He had em' sync'ed up with the 4 tach's on the dash. 250 HP X 4 on a 28' boat with 7' beam. Those Chi-Comms know how to do river patrol boats. This is the pilot and I, nice guy, but I'd feel better if we didn't owe them a bizillion dollars. Oops, maybe I should stick to boats.
