Tim, People have asked why I'v had the same boat for the last 15 yrs.. It's because I'v sold a number of cars I wish I had'nt. One was a 58 chev convertible. I think it fetched $200.

Cars we've sold !

Yeah, we've all been there. To finish the Saratogan I sold my 1967 GTO that I bought new in 1966. 400- 4 speed! Also sold my 1973 Porsche 911 Targa that I drove for ten years. A five speed 2.7 liter.

Having said that, there has been a lot of sacrifice to complete the 31 Saratogan. Was it worth it? I'll let you be the judge.....

Part of my thinking I suppose is that if the economy really tanks, I can live aboard the Skagit and live off the water, more or less. Couldn't do that with the cars......:surprised1:
