  • Looking for Morris built

    Norseman

    Welcome to the message board...

I assume you've already seen the Norseman that's been on craigslist repeatedly, located in the Bellingham area as I recall...(?)

Bryants and Norsemans come up for sale fairly often, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one.

    Good luck,

    - Marty

The Norseman that Marty is referring to is in Sedro Wooley. The guy lists it every once in awhile. No pictures with the listing, so I'm not sure of it's condition. If I see it again, I'll post a response here.

I have a 57 Norseman.A member told me you were looking last summer for one.Steve

Steve, I took the liberty of editing out your phone number in order to prevent spammers from snagging it. I emailed Corry (the guy looking for a Norseman) your name and phone number.

In case that you don't know about this tool.....here's a fun way to search craigslist (all cities) and e-bay all at once for boats or just about anything else....

                  CPM,

If you went to the "Shipwrights" exhibit at the Whatcom Museum last year, I believe the Norseman being referred to was there, as was a boat that I have, a 15' Dakota, designed by George Garlick and built by the lead carpenter from Norseman.

Both are good boats and available.

                      norseman for sale

Here is a picture of the Norseman that is/was for sale at the museum in B'ham
a local guy donated it to the museum for funds. Not sure if its still there or not. You could contact Mike Granat - mikeg@bimm.us for more information. It's a nice boat and has been stored in a museum can't get better storage than that ?
