  • Bearcat SMALL parts.

Not sure I like the idea of people taking these down and selling off every little part for some screwy price but here is a fellow that is taking the Bearcat stuff apart and selling it piece by piece.
I guess this is good if you have some small part you need. He has at least 9 pieces on auction right now and I would suspect you contact him for other small parts you might need.

I see those and wow maybe I should part out those two homelite longblocks I have? I saw 199 bucks for a oil pump. I wouldn't ask that kind of money for the same part though. At this point though I am glad I have some extra parts that BillR gave me.

Might not be a bad idea to let go of some to the things you may never use.
I have 3 long blocks I have to leave behind up in Quil. She will haul them to the scrap yard ;-(

I've been watching that guy sell of bits and pieces for a year. My hope is that he's finding scrap outboards that are beyond repair and parting them out. The reality is probably 180 out from that.

You get people like that. Seen it more than I want too.
My old man was in the wrecking business and some cars, I just wanted to save but couldn't.
He was more of a scraper than anything else.

At least we know the guy might have some small parts to save us so not so much innovative fabrication required.
